Description
The CubiCal C8000 Series is an innovative system that enables dimensional weight data to be captured directly on a hand held computer. The rugged, compact design of the Cubical C 8000 delivers exceptional functionality and value in the smallest possible package. Its tape cassette is compact enough to attach directly to a hand held computer and its high tech design fits well with today’s ergonomics features.  The system is weather resistant and able to withstand a 4 feet (1.2 m) drop to concrete making it ideal in the material handling environment.  The Cubical C8000 is produced by Certified Instrument Corp. Pty Ltd., a global leader in the manufacturing of mobile and certified dim-weight measuring equipment.

How Does It Work
The system collects Waybill or SKU bar coded data and associates it to dimensional weight measurement in standard (Imperial) or metric units simultaneously. It features default setting for a range of standard skids/pallets, enabling fast and accurate measurement.  The CubiCal C8000 Data Tape System is ideal for the end user who requires a mobile data capture ability that extends beyond barcode scanning to include total data capture at a single point, in one process.

Freight Transportation Facilities
The system captures measurement data directly to the application and can be programmed to a range of freight transportation specific requirements. The system includes an easy to use keypad and is loaded with standard Checkmate application.

Data Download
To download collected data, simply detach the CubiCal C8000 tape cassette from the terminal and insert it into the serial cradle port. The cradle also enables battery recharging.
